Mission Statement
The UK Clinical Pharmacy Technician Network aims to facilitate the development and sharing of ideas, information, best practice and innovation for pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals who work in “ward based” or “clinical” areas.
Values and Terms of Reference :
The UK Clinical Pharmacy Technician Network is a non-profit, voluntary body that is open to all UK pharmacy staff working in primary and secondary care
The views, opinions and ideas of all members will be listened to and respected at all times
Members of the Network should be willing to share ideas, information, best practice and innovation with colleagues from any Health Service organisation
The UK Clinical Pharmacy Technician Network will meet at least twice a year
Steering Group Terms of Reference
The group will:
Facilitate the sharing of ideas in order to disseminate good practice
Form and strengthen links with external bodies and organisations
Encourage the publication of Network members work
Individually cascade relevant information to all members in their region
Meet at least twice a year
Organise twice yearly conferences
